Isolation contact sucks!
Isolation contact. That's what it says outside of Cael's hospital room. Yep. We were admitted yesterday around 11am. Isolation contact means you can't go for a walk or to the playroom. You have to stay in your own room. Rotovirus is a nasty, nasty thing. He was so dehydrated. His CO2 was at 17 when we were admitted. It was 19 this morning at 6:30 when those mean nurses came in to wake him up and draw blood. He only cried for about 10 seconds while they took his blood, but when they left, he cried for about five more minutes because of the sheer suckiness of it all. He's eatting more today. A couple of partial bananas and some gatorade. A few bites of toast. Our doctor said that his CO2 has to be up to 21 and he has to be able to eat and drink a normal amount without throwing up before we get to go home. Sooooo... we're still in the hospital at least until tomorrow. Keep us in your prayers.
